FEILDING SALE.
PRICES FOlt STOCK
(Speciafto “Standard.”) FEILDING, Sept. 19. Keen interest was shown at the Feilding stock to-day by a large attendance, but and dairy heifers showed a marked tendency to be “sticky.” There was a decline of about Is 6d per head shown over fat ewes, but a considerable number of other lines about held their own, with only a few passings. Outside interests were not operating to the usual extent. In the dairy heifer section the demand at the outset was dull and a decline of £2 to £3 per head all round ruled. As the sale progressed, however, the inquiry showed signs of recovery, with the result that at 1 p.m. prices had made up a lot of the leeway.
