Mails close as under: — For Australian States (via Melbourne) per Maheno, from Wellington, Saturday. August 16th, at 6 a.m.
The secretary of the P. and T. Department advises that mails which left Wellington cn the 15th July per Makura via San Francisco, arrived in London, on 12th August.
