DEFECTIONS FROM PARTY. LOST ENTHUSIASM. P.eceived August 14, 10.5 a.m. LONDON, Aug. 13. The position of the Liberal Party is attracting 1 attention in view of the in both Conservative and Labour directions. According to the Daily Telegraph, the organisers of the party are prepared to finance only about 100 candidates at the next election. The Telegraph adds: “The next election is likely to see the laying of the ghost of the Liberal Party for good.”
