LINDBERGH’S TIME BEATEN.
ACROSS UNITED STATES. Received August 14, 12.45 p.m. NEW YORK, Aug. 13. Captain Frank Hawks arrived here at 5.41 on Wednesday evening, thus regaining the west-east transcontinental flying record from Colonel Lindbergh by nearly two hours. His time was 12 lirs 25 min. He took off from Glendale, California.
