KNOCKED DOWN BY TRAIN.
CHILD RECEIVES FATAL * INJURIES. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Aug. 14. Knocked down by a city-bound at Silverstream yesterday ' afternoon, Isabel Frances Orr, aged five years, a daughter of Mr J. Orr, of Marlborough Street, Silverstream, received injuries from which she died in the Wellington Hospital at 12.30 o’clock this morning. The little girl was crossing the railway line at Whiteman’s Valley Road when she was struck by the locomotive of the 3.25 p.m. train from Upper Hutt.
