FIRE AT WELLINGTON.
TWO SHOPS GUTTED. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Aug. 14. Eire early this morning gutted shops in Courtenay Place occupied by Barnao Dros, and Angus Duncan (tobacconist). The premises were, owned by Archibald Griffiths and insured for £BOOO. Barnao’s stock is insured for £llOO and Duncan’s for £750 on the shop goods and £BOO on the saloon fittings. The cause of the fire is unknown.
