DISCUSSION AT SIMLA. (United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) (British Official Wireless.) Received July 21, 11 a.m. RUGBY, July 19. Lord Irwin, Viceroy of India, yesterday had an informal discussion at Simla with many members of both Houses of the Legislature. Those present represented all parties. The proceedings were private, but it is understood that the general situation was discussed in a frank and friendly manner. The Viceroy expressed in his recent speech to the Legislature his desiro to hear a nonoffiical opinion in the recommendations of the Simon Statutory Commission, and that further occasions were to bo found for consultation with non-offi-cial opinion from several Provinces.
