HEENEY-BERTAZZOLO BOUT. NEAV YORK, June 21. The fight between Tom Heeney .and Bertazzolo has been postponed until July 7, in order to afford Bertazzolo more time in which to train. The bout will be held at Boston.
FIERCE BATTLE AT SYDNEY.
PETERS DEFEATS GILDO
SYDNEY, June 22. Johnny Peters (the English bantamweight) outpointed Gildo, the Filipino, at the Stadium last night. A large crowd disagreed with tho verdict, thinking that a draw should have been given.' Tho fight was willing throughout, Gildo’s fierceness taxing the Englishman’s ringcraft to the fullest extent.
