NAVAL PACT.
AMERICAN INQUIRY. ADMIRAL PRINGLE’S EVIDENCE. Received May 21, 11.35 a.m. AVASHINGTON, May 20. Admiral Pringle, president of the Naval War College, gave evidence before the Naval Affairs Committee of the Senate to-day. Admiral Pringle said that he disapproved of the alteration of the relative naval strength between the United States and Japan, proposed by the London Naval Treaty, as lessening America’s chances of operating a successful campaign.
