ACCUSED FOR SENTENCE.
Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, May 20. Thirty-eight charges of false pretence, involving £2/7, were preferred against William Thomas, a young man, to-day. They were allegedly committed at Dunedin, Oamaru, Timaru and Christchurch. Thomas pleaded guilty and was committed foy sentence.
