FATAL INJURIES.
Per Press Association. INVERCARGILL, May 20. While Charles William Forbes, a motor mechanic, aged 19, was riding a motor-cycle in the vicinity of the Awarua wireless station on Bluff Road this afternoon, the connecting links of his forks broke, with the result that the rider was thrown on to the road. He suffered serious injuries, and later succumbed in hospital.
