GENERAL FORECAST. The depression has now moved eastward, and an anti-cyclone is advancing on to the Dominion. Winds southwest to southerly and moderate to fresh. Seas moderate generally in New Zealand waters. . Moderate to fresh southerly winds and moderate seas in the Eastern Tasman Sea Weather still rather unsettled with scattered showers mainly in the far south., but improving gradually. Cold night with some frosts. DISTRICT REPORT. FAIR TO CLOUDY. The Government meteorologist wired to-clav:—The indications are for vanable and moderate breezes, westerly prevailing.
