BANKRUPT’S PAYMENTS.
RESOLUTION AT MEETING. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, May 19. Suggestion of fraudulent preference of payments to certain creditors out of the insurance money from the fire which burned down his store- at Paremata were made at the creditors’ meeting of Charles Lambert to-day, and a resolution was carried that the firms in question should be asked by the Official Assignee to return the amounts, failing which action should be taken to recover them.
