MISS JOHNSON’S VENTURE. FATHER DENIES REPORT. (United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) Received May 19, 1.25 p.m. LONDON, May 18. Miss Amy Johnson’s father denies a report that sho is flying to Australia to meet her fiance. Mr Johnson agrees with her decision not to attempt to break Captain Hinkler’s record and adds:— “Her reaching Australia will be an achievement of which I shall bo prouder than the breaking of records.”
