THEIR MAJESTIES’ COURT

Ordinarily, Court presentations of visitors from the Dominions are undertaken by the wife-of the Secretary of State for the Dominions. Lord Passfield. But Lord Passfield’s wife rofuses to adopt the title —she is known as Mrs Sidney Webb—or attend a Court, so Lady Parmoor is carrying out the duties. <■ Those being presented at the Court on Thursday include Mesdames Wilford, Addison and MacCartney. Mrs Wilford will present Mesdames H. E. Davis, J. L. Findlay Misses Sheila Dumbleton, Stella Murray, Meta Nixon, of Christchurch, Mesdames Hubert Nathan, Bruce Rennie, of Wellington,' Joan Kelly, of Napier, Elena Heimore, of Timaru and Virginia Nichols, of Otago. Mrs Hubert Nathan will present her daughter, Miss Joyce Nathan, at the fifth Court on July 10.
