PINNED UNDER CAR.
CIRCUS HAND’S DEATH. Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, May 12. Oliver Jack, aged 33, employed as a clown with a travelling circus, was killed when a motor-car in which he was travelling as a passenger overturned near Taitapu late on Sunday night. Mr Jack was pinned under the car and was killed instant Ly. The night was foggv and the lights failed, with the result that the car was driven over a bank at the side of the road. It is believed that Mr Jack had relative© in Sydney. The car was driven by Herbert John Langford, aged 18.
