PRISON ESCAPEES.

TWO NATIVE YOUTHS AT LARGE. Per Press Association. _ NAPIER, May 12. Two native youths, escapees from Te Awamutu prison camp, driving a stolen car, in which they made their escape, came into collision with a Gisbornebound car on the “Devil’s Elbow,’’ on the main Napier-Gisborne road, yesterday afternoon. Nobody was injured in the collision, and the escapees took to the bush. Four constables left Napier last evening for the scene of the accident to cany out a search, but returned this morning, having failed to find them. It was reported that the youths were seen making in the direction of Eskdale late yesterday afternoon.
