QUEENSLAND FLOODS.
RIVERS RECEDING. MAN DROWNED IN CREEK. Received May 13, 11 a.m. BRISBANE, May 13. Fine weather prevailed to-day ovef the flooded areas. The rivers and creeks are subsiding rapidly, most of the submerged bridges luve been uncovered, and normal traffic is expected to bo resumed to-morrow. "While crossing a flooded creek, George Watson was swept off his feet and drowned. Two men made unsuccessful attempts at rescue.
