FEILDING.
OUTBREAK OF FIRE. (Special to “Standard.”) FEILDING, May 10. At 10 o’clock last night the Fire Brigade was called to the residence of Mr Geo. Wells, 107 Denbigh Street, where an outbreak of fire had been discovered in the wood shed at the back of the house. The brigade was not long in reaching the scene and confined the flames to the shed, no great amount of damage being done. It is thought the fire was caused by rats.
