TRIUMPH OVER MANY MISFORTUNES.—After being forced down in eight countries, Messrs. Piper and Kay reached Mascot Aerodrome (N.S.W.) on April 3, after taking 53 days to fly from England to Sydney. Although weeks outside the record, their machine is the first monoplane to fly from England to Australia; it was the fastest tune for any light 'Plane with two passengers, and it was the first England-Australia flight by two New Zealanders. The Aorangi landing at Mascot, Aerodrome on April 3.
