MATTERS PIGEONHOLED.
MEMBER’S COMPLAINT. Complaints that matters raised by him were not attended to with sufficient despatch were made at tho annual meeting of the Manawatu A. and P. Association, yesterday, by Mr T. Webb. “I brought up this matter last year,” he said to the retiring president, Mr J. Linklater, M.P., “and you promised to attend to it.” Mr' Linklater: I promised to look into it. Mr Webb: But you didn’t. _ Mr Linklater: Oh yes, I looked into it. (Laughter). Stating that, in any case, nothing more had been heard of his suggestion, Mr Webb added that one matter he had brought up some time ago had been pigeonholed for three years by one president. Mr.J. A. Nash. M.P.: Well. I got it through for you eventually. (Laughter).
