COAL DISPUTE.
MINERS’ MEETINGS. Received April 9, 10.5 a.m. SYDNEY, April 8. Aggregate meetings of coal miners were held on the Maitland fields today, three of' which voted strongly against the acceptance of the compromise proposals. At a meeting at Paxton the men favoured the acceptance of 'the proposals by a large majority.
