YOUTH FOR SENTENCE.
Per Press Association. DARGAVILLE, April 9. .Rudolph Matthew Joseph Franich, aged 18, who was arrested on the Whangarei- racecourse on Saturday, appeared in the Police Court yesterday and pleaded guilty to eight charges of breaking and entering and stealing nioney and goods of the value of about £3O from various business premises. Be was committed to the Auckland Supreme Court for sentence, and was allowed bail, self in the sum of £l5O, and two sureties of £l5O each. An application for suppression of his name until he was sentenced at the Supreme Court was refused by the presiding Justices, Messrs. F. A. Jones and Charles S. Rush, who also imposed stringent conditions regarding bail.
