FIREWORKS DISPLAY.
Thoso who were privileged to witness the fine display of fireworks on tho Show grounds a few wooks ago will be interested to learn that another similar attraction is to bo presented on tho same location on tho night of Tuesday, 15th inst. The display will again be supplied by Wainoni Fireworks, Ltd., by arrangement with thtf Manawatu Highland Pipe Band, and the excellence of previous pyrotcchnical exhibitions by the firm mentioned should serve as a guarantee of satisfaction for the forthcoming display. Soveral now features will bo introduced and many of tho established favourites will bo ropcatod. A spectacular item will be an illuminated parado on the oval by tho Pipo Band. In the. preliminary programme will bo a singing competition for boys under 16 years of age, competitors being allowed to mako their own selection of the song. Good prizes are offered. Popular prices of admission of ono shilling for adults and sixpcnco for children will prevail. Qhildron under ten years_ of age will bo. admitted free accompanied by parents.
