The weather was fin© for the final Eallops this morning. The track was in good order after Tuesday’s rain. All the gallops were on the grass, unless otherwise stated. Te Awha beat Sunny Mint oyer six furlongs in 1.18, the latter going surprisingly well. . The Hawk covered a mile in 1.4 b. iHe will be ridden by B. H. Morris in the Cup. . Queen’s Choice and Futurist, on the plough, galloped four furlongs in 51 4 »ecs. Jenny Diver and My Own, who were not extended, took 64secs. for five furlongs. . _ , , •; lago, Winmngton, Toboggan and Ruby’s Step, with the former in front, ran five furlongs in 63secs. Rongo (Walsh) gave a pleasing display of once round over tne hurdles. Bernern took 51 for four furlongs, going well within himself. - Rich Harvest covered four furlongs in 601. . Mountain Heath was not galloped. He is very well. Glasglouch ran four furlongs in 50 •ecs. Aston did pace work. Purseful took 511 for four furlongs. Golden Shadow,'* with a fair weight, could have improved on the 65sec. for his five furlongs. King Manu could have bettered his fillsec. for four furlongs._ Brown Sugar and Kuikai covered five in 631 sec, doing the task well. , Kaikatatoa held The Mug safely over four furlongs in 50sec. on the plough.
