SPANISH UNREST.
KING ALFONSO ATTACKED. MADRID, April 9. One of the liveliest banquets on record took place in the Hotel National to-night. The function was in honour of Senor Domingo, who is tire author of “VV’here Goes Spain?” There were 500 guests. The speakers were warned not to abuse the Government’s new permission to hold' public gatherings, but one declared that he was not poing to mince words and attacked King Alfonso, whereupon a Government official declared tho banquet suspended. Dozens of police with drawn swords were called. The diners fled, amid a pandemonium of wrecked tables and smashed crockery. Eight were arrested, but later were released.
