BOULOGNE MYSTERY.

INTEREST REVIVED. LONDON, April 8. The mystery surrounding the discovery of the body of Nurse May Daniels on the. outskirts of Boulogne on January 26, 1927, has been dramatically revived by the arrival at Scotlaud Yard of M. Louis Ligier, head of Boulogne detective service. . The visit is the outcome of information givi*n by a convict in Parkhurst Prison. The prisonor stated that he overheard a fellow-convict discussing the mystery. M. Ligier attaches importance to the statement as ho has always considered that Miss Daniels was the victim, of foul play.

The body of Miss Daniels, an English nurse, was found near Wimmercux. Inquiries into the cause of death lasted several months. After a second post-mor-tem examination, for which the body was exhumed, Dr. Paul, a Paris medico-legal expert, expressed the opinion that death was due to strangulation.
