MISHAP ON WARSHIP
PREMATURE EXPLOSION. FOUR MEN KILLED. THREE SERIOUSLY INJURED. (United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) Received April 9, 10.5 a.m. HONGKONG. April 8. Four were killed and three injured by the premature explosion of a depthcharge on H.M.S. Sepoy, which was exercising outside Hongkong to-day. Two bodies were blown from the deck and were picked up by the destroyer Stirling, which was in the same vicinity. A gunner, one petty officer, and two A.B.’s were killed. Two A.B.’s and one petty officer were seriously injured. The Sepoy suffered little damage.
