LICENSING LAWS
Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, April 7 . Two electors of Marsden applied to the Supreme Court to-day to have the publican’s license of the Kamo Springs Hotel quashed and a writ of certiorari issued against the Marsden Licensing Cmmittee, dwlaring the issue of tho license invalid. A license wa3 granted on June 11, 1929, to Walter Henry Cuthbert, who is joined as defendant with the Whangarei Hospital Board. _ . , Important points concerning the interpretation of the .Licensing Act were raised and reference made to tho Ashburton case, which is to go before tho Privy Council. Decision was reserved.
