CHRISTCHURCH FIRE.
Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, April 8. Two trotting sulkies and a gig and two speed carts were lost in a fire which destroyed a wooden shed at the rear of Bryant and Company’s coachbuilding establishment in Papanui Road to-day. The flames were unusually fierce, because in the shed was stored a quantity of paint, oil and varnish. The shed was insured for £IOO.
