BRITISH ISRAEL ASSOCIATION.
(To the Editor). Sir, —A conference was held in Wellington lust week by the British Israel Association, with a view to federating tho numerous small branches in this country. Delegates from Auckland, Wanganui, Palmerston North, Dunedin and Invercargill were present. A constitution was drawn up and headquarters will bo in Wellington. Officers were chosen as follow:—President, Mr Deslandes; vice-presidents, three from different towns; secretary, Mr D. D. Inge, M.I. Mech. E.; treasurer, Mr Clift (C.W.); committee, nine members. It is hoped that great progress in making known the wonderful truth will be effected, and that Israel (the ten lost tribes, not Judah) will soon recognise tho glorious fact that she is not only restored to God’s favour as a nation, but that she is in very deed the greatest nation—God’s battle axe—the Covenant people who are, and always were destined to bo, a blessing to all other nations, carrying the Bible in over 700 different languages to the heathen and introducing justice and righteousness wherever her people are ruling. We hope to call a big meeting here in Palmerston North shortly that our own loved city may take a lead in this vital movement, which is spreading like a forest fire among the learned classes in the Mother Country. “Unity is strength” and we should like to see the leaders in this city recognising their .great inheritance and. shouldering their consequent responsibilities. -Why continue so blind; on shepherds of tho flock.— I am., etc., ’ A. L. HUTCHINSON, P.N. Pres, of tho 8.1. Assn. 20 Pirie Street, Palmerston North, April T, 1930.
