PARNELL BY-ELECTION.
(By Telegraph.—Special to Standard.) WELLINGTON, April 5. Hon. W. A., Veitch, . Minister-inr Charge of the Electoral Department, states that polling day for the'Parnell by-election has been luted for Wednesday, May 7. The vacancy will be formally notified in the next Gazette. .The rolls will close at 6 p.m. on Friday, April 11. Nominations close on April 24.
