PALMERSTON NORTH GUN CLUB.

FORTNIGHTLY SHOOT. Tlio fortnightly shoot of the Palmerston North Gun Club held on Saturday in fine weather, was attended by a very fair number of members. The first event, the gimcrack shoot, for trophies presented by Messrs H. E. Best and C. A. ltofe, was won by J. Dunlop (Wanganui). C. Rofe defeated B. K. Thomson for second place. A 10-bird sweep was well contested, three members, B. K. Thomson, J. Dunlop and M. Ivearins dividing the prizes. A final sweep (open marks) was won by G. A. Rofe with W. A. Thompson second. The next shoot will be held on Mav 10 when the club championship . will be the main attraction.
