OBSTETRICAL APPEAL.
FIGURES FOR MANAWATU. Although the appeal by the Palmerston North branch of the New Zealand Obstetrical Society for the endowment fund has officially closed, small amounts are continuing to come in with the fulfilment of promises made. It is not anticipated that the total will exceed £B4O. , ■ , The sum allocated to the Manawatu was £IOOO, and of that amount £B2O has been received, Levin, Otaki and Feilding having made up the balance after Palmerston North’s total was taken into account.
