ALLEGED THEFT.
POWER BOARD SECRETARY CHARGED. Per Press Association. TE KUITI, April 1. Victor Daniel Wifinesky, secretary of the Waitomo Power Board, appeared in the Magistrate’s Court to-day to answer a charge of stealing a sum of £73 11s, the property of the board. The police, in asking for a remand, said tfiat there were other charges pending, involving not less than £ISOO. Accused was remanded, bail being allowed.
