NEAV ZEALAND BUTTER. HONOLULU PAPER’S TRIBUTE. (By Teiegraph—Special to Standard.) AUCKLAND, March 25. A tribute to the superior quality of New Zealand butter is contained in retailers’ advertisements appearing in recent issues of a Honolulu newspaper. A brand of finest quality New Zealand butter is offered at 55• cents a pound, while a Californian brand is for sale at 10 cents cheaper. In a special advertisement the New Zealand product is claimed to be the “world’s best butter.” The newspaper, in its "Market Basket” column, remarks that New Zealand butter “is priced at 55 cents a pound, while the Californian brand is even lower, at 45 cents a poundJ” In Britisn coinage these’ prices would be 2s 3Jd and Is 10id.
