LIFE-SAVING.
SCHOOLBOYS EXAMINED. Yesterday afternoon, at the Boys’ High Sehool baths, an examination in water work for the various life-saving awards was conducted by Mr W. C. Collier, examiner 1 to the Manawatu Centre of the Royal Life-Saving Society. The results of the examination were as follow (subject to approval by the society): —Bar to award of merit (for repetition of test for the award of merit).—G. Kenning, H. Hildebrandt, R. Bary.
