The Test tennis match between New Zealand and Australia commenced at the Wilding Park courts to-day. The weather was cool and overcast, with a light easterly breeze. Australia won all the matches but one. Generally, the visitors were superior in court-craft, could command and control better speed, and made fewer mistakes. Following are the results, Australian names being mentioned first: Teague lost to Wilson, 6-*-8, I—6, 4—6; Kalms beat France, 6 —3, B—6,8 —6, 6—l; Spronle beat Angas, 6—l, 6 —2, B—6; Donohoe beat Bartleet, 6 —3,’’ 6—2, 4—6, 7—9, B—6.
