AUSTRALIAN DEFENCE.
CANBERRA, Feb. 24. Following a visit paid by the Prime Minister and the Minister of Defence to Jervis Bay Naval College, the Government is not likely, as was originally intended, to close up this institution. Arrangements will be made, however, to effect considerable economies.
