TWO MEN DROWNED.
Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, Feb. 24. Two men, Messrs Fisher and McLannigan, were drowned in the Waimakariri River near Brooklands last evening. They were trawling for flounders, when a storm came up and waves knocked them over. A third man escaped.
