FLOODS IN AUSTRALIA.
TRAIN SERVICES HELD UP. Received February 24, 10.5 a.m. ADELAIDE, F'eb. 23. Trains are still stranded on the east to west line at Forrest’and Loongana owing to extensive washouts. Aeroplanes are carrying food supplies to various stations for the marooned passengers. Railway officials have been instructed not to book passengers from Perth before next Tuesday, but a feeling prevails that the trams will not resume before Thursday.
