KING OF BELGIUM.
ENERGETIC PROTEST. “I must protest energetically against the legends fabricated wholesale representing the King as cutting a ridiculous and evil figure at a great hour in Belgian history,” says King Albert, in a statement to the newspapers apropos of the measures taken alter the Armistice to form a Coalition Government universal suffrage. His Majesty says that everybody agreed that the first Cabinet after the war should represent a patriotic union.
