DISSATISFIED GENERALS.
CHINESE CIVIL STRIFE,
PEKIN, Feb. 21
Chinese papers here to-day state that Fong Yuh Siang’s generals have issued a telegram supporting Yen Hsi 'Shan and denouncing Chiang Ivai Shell whose autocratic methods they severely condemn.
“Chkmg’s policy of unification of force,” the telegram says, “aims merely at an expansion of his own military power at the expense of other militarists whom lie wishes to exterminate.
•‘The signatories to this telegram, with a view to securing real ]>eace, support the stand taken by Yen Hsi Shan, expressing their readiness to back nim with armed force.”
