(From Our Own Correspondent.) RONGOTEA, Feb. 21. The Rongotea branch of the Women’s Institute held its annual picnic at the Onoua river on Wednesday afternoon, when about 50 members were present, including visitors from Kopane, Sanson and Palmerston North. After an appetising luncheon wa-: partuken of a short programme of events was held as follows: —Girls’ three-legged race: Miss Hunt and Miss Gray 1.
