FOXTON.

(From Our Own Correspondent). FOXTON, Nov. 6. Mr and Mrs J. H. Reid, of Australia, are spending a holiday in New Zealand and are at present visiting their son, Mr H. J. Reid, of Foxton. Rev. and Mrs W. Walton are at present on holiday in the Taranaki district. Guy Fawkes Day was fittingly celebrated by the juvenile population yesterday and last night the town resounded with the detonations of explosives. Heavy rains have been experienced over night during the last few days and, accompanied by warm sunshine throughout the day, havo had a very beneficial effect on the gardens. Farmers report an abundance of feed as a result.
