_ 74-YEAR-OLD MILLIONAIRE. The Lancashire millionaire cotton millowner, Mr William Birtwistle, aged ; 74, who is the possessor of more looms than anybody else in the world, was quietly married to his 20-year-old , auburn-haired typiste, Miss Edith Stevenson. Mr Birtwistle bought a j special license, but kept the date of J the wedding secret, even from his fianoee. He told her the evening before the ceremony that he had arranged it for next morning.
