PALESTINE SITUATION.

CERTAIN AREA RESTIVE. DEMONSTRATION FLIGHTS. (British Official Wireless.) Received September 3, 12 noon. RUGBY, Sept. 2. A communique issued from the Colonial Office states that the country north of Safed is inclined to be restless, but in other districts the situation is reported as generally quiet. Yesterday demonstration flights were carried out in strength by aircraft over the north and north-eastern areas of Palestine, where armed bands of Arabs were still reported as crossing from proclamation by the High Commissioner for Palestine and Trans-Jor-dunia was -distributed over the Jerusalem area by the aircraft. The following are total casualties up to August 31:—Killed or died of wounds: Moslems 83, Christians 4, Jews 109. Wounded, in hospital: Moslems 122, Christians 10, Jews 183.
