ELECTRICAIJ ATMOSPHERE. SLASHING ATTACK ON MR BRUCE Received August 31, 1.5 p.m. CANBERRA, Aug. 31. An electrical atmosphere prevailed in the House of Representatives during the debate on the Arbitration Bill. Labour members shouted defiance during Mr Parkhill’s attempt to justify the Government’s policy. Mr Mann, in opposing the bill, made a slashing attack on Mr Bruce.
