CHINAMAN ROBBED.
FRUIT TAKEN FROM SHOP. Per Press Association.' HAMILTON, Aug. 27. Though he had £321 in a Savings Bank, George Henry Field, aged 25 years, a hawker, entered a local chinaman’s shop, filled a sack and his pockets with fruit and ran away when the proprietor appeared. A detective pursued and arrested Field, who was fined £lO this morning, in default one month’s imprisonment.
