FIRE AT SYDENHAM.
INCENDIARISM SUSPECTED. Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, Aug. 26. The Sydenham Bowling Club’s pavilion in Brougham Street was gutted by fire at 12 o’clock last night under circumstances which point to incendiarism.' The brigades were successful in saving the older portion of the building where the members have lockers. The damage to this part will not be great, although the whole structure will have' to be rebuilt. The club records were lost.
